Preschool Fees
Braidwood Preschool is partially funded by the NSW Government under the Start Strong Funding Program.
If your child is eligible and enrolled at Braidwood Preschool, fee relief funding will reduce your fees up to a maximum of $4,220 per year.
From early 2023, this fee relief is available to all eligible families through the Start Strong for Community Preschools program.
The fee relief will be passed on to you by Braidwood preschool as two days fee free. The preschool will let you know a fee relief reduction has been made to your fees, such as via a regular invoice, statement from the service, or other means.
You will still need to pay any remaining fees and/or levies after the fee relief has been applied, this is inclusive of full fees for a third or additional day/s.
Further information can be found via Fee relief in community and mobile preschools information sheet.
We request that families establish a direct debit to pay their fees. To arrange this, please contact our Clerk, Fay, by phoning our office on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday (4842 2128).
Fees are payable for the days your child is enrolled, including days when your child is absent. Your child may be able to ‘make up’ a day, (where spaces are available), if they are absent on their enrolled day. However this is not guaranteed. Please talk to staff about the possibility of a make up day.
The funding grant received from the Department is not enough to cover all the Preschool’s costs. The fees paid by parents and our Committee's fundraising activities are, therefore, an essential source of income and allow our Preschool to employ qualified experienced educators and to provide a quality Preschool program for all our children. Our Committee meets monthly and holds its Annual General Meeting each February.
Association Membership joining fee is $1.10; annual fee is $2.20.
