In-nature program

We have recently developed an in-nature program where we embark on both spontaneous and planned walks in nature and explore the local reserve.

During this particular adventure we collected natural materials to later add to our ‘gathered and found shelf’ located in our art area.

We have since incorporated these materials into our playdough, art experiences and literacy exploration; using leaves and small pieces of bark to recreate the letters in our names.

We look forward to many more in-nature walks as the year progresses!
