We were very happy to have Uncle Noel and Aunty Trish Nura Gunyu with us today, on a day of so much bana (rain).
Uncle Noel read us, a story Aunty Trish has written about the animal making a two day walk from gadhu (the sea) to Mongarlowe. The children remembered the animal names in dhurga language, maringali, ngaran ngaran, mirigan, goombawa, and joined Aunty Trish in singing, and dancing to Uncle Noel playing the didj.
