ECT/Educational Leader Temporary Position available

The role:
Braidwood Preschool is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to work with our passionate team of Educators 4 days per week. This is a temporary part time teaching position to commence 27th January 2022 and finish 1st July 2022. This role is a leadership role as Educational Leader.

Hours of Employment will be 8:15am to 4:15pm Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, with non-contact time on Thursday 9am – 1pm.

Criteria:

·         Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)

·         Double Covid-19 Vaccination (Manadatory)

·   Current Working with Children Check

·         Current ACECQA approved First Aid Qualification including Emergency Asthma and Anaphylaxis

·         Current Child Protection Training

·         Demonstrated understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards

·         Willingness to be appointed as a Responsible Person

·         Current Teacher Accreditation

·         Demonstrated experience in providing high quality care and education for children aged 3-5 years, and working with children with additional needs

·         Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and documenting children’s learning

 Capabilities:

·         Ability to relate effectively to children and their families

·         Ability to work effectively in a team environment

·         Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

·         Effective time management skills

·         Initiative and capacity to work with minimal supervision

·         Commitment to ongoing professional learning

·         Well-developed computer skills
